Frequently Asked Questions

On this page can be found answers to common question asked about Tours of Leeds. If you can't find an answer to your query below, please fill in the form on the Contact page.

Do you offer private group bookings?

For groups of six or more people, private group bookings are available. I can either offer any of the tours available on the Tours webpage, or something bespoke. To enquire, please fill in the form on the Contact webpage. Please note that as Saturday's are my busiest days for public tours, I may not be able to accommodate private bookings of less than ten people. The rest of the week is usually fine. 

Is there a minimum number of people to be able to make a booking?

To avoid tour cancellations, the first booking of any guided tour will need to be for a minimum of two people. However, after the first booking, single ticket purchases are welcome. There is no minimum for self-guided tours.

Can I change a booking?

If your plans have changed, please send an email to hello@toursofleeds.co.uk with your booking reference and a preferred new date and I will do my best to accommodate. Please note that date changes may be subject to an additional fee.

Can I get a refund?

For booked tours, any refunds depend on the circumstances of the refund request and how soon it is before the tour is scheduled. You can find out more on the Terms and Conditions webpage. Gift cards cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

Can I extend my gift card?

If your card is about to expire or has recently expired (<14 days) and you wish to extend it, please email hello@toursofleeds.co.uk with your voucher details. A fee is payable to extend for 6 months.

What happens if a tour gets cancelled?

In the unlikely event a tour gets cancelled, guests booked on that tour will be contacted to advise and will be offered a number of options with regards their booking. This may include an offer of refund, converting the tickets into a 12 month gift card or booking onto a new date.

Can I bring children/pets on a tour?

Most tours include content not suitable for under-18s, so for ease the tours are for adults only. Service animals can come on any tour. If you would like to bring an animal for whatever other reason, then please email hello@toursofleeds.co.uk with the details. Although I'm happy to have other animals on a tour, I will check with other booked guests first to ensure their comfort with it.

Do you provide food/drink on your tours?

For the Leeds Heritage Pub Tour, drinks are included as a part of that tour. Food is not offered and guests are encouraged to eat beforehand. During the tour, guests are welcome to snack at their own expense, but must be mindful of the tour timings.

For other guided tours, unless otherwise stated, food or drink is not provided. However, you are welcome to consume your own as we walk along the tour route.

Is there somewhere that I can leave my luggage?

Tours of Leeds has partnered with Bounce to offer tour guests a discount when using their luggage storage service. Please send an email to hello@toursofleeds.co.uk for the code.
